Chocolate avocado smoothie

A chocolate smoothie is a gift. It’s a way of getting some healthy things in your body while also treating your soul. Packed with banana, avocado, oats, greek yoghurt and cocoa powder, you’re going to get a great boost in the morning—or any time of day when you need a chocolate kick. P.S. This is great for PMS.

Ingredients

1 banana

1/2 avocado

1/4 cup oats

3/4 cup almond milk

1 tsp cocoa powder

2 tbs greek yoghurt (plus 1 tbs extra for decoration)

1 square dark chocolate

1-2 tbs maple syrup

1/2 cup ice

Method

  1. Put everything in the blender and blend until smooth. Add more almond milk or water to make it thinner, if desired. Smear 1 tbs yoghurt around your glass for some artistic flair.
